New Schedule for fusing workshops...
These workshops are in addition to our regular schedule.
Intro to Kiln Formed Glass
:
In this introductory workshop, we will explore the possibilities of fused & slumped glass. You will learn the basics of glass cutting, firing schedules, glass compatibility, & annealing. You will experiment with design possibilities using a wide variety of frit, stringers, confetti, & irridized glass to create a set of example tiles, & 2 fused & slumped bowls. You will be shown the technical and artistic side of fusing glass. Tuition includes all materials & use of basic tools. Sept. 10, 11, & 12 10-4. Cost $295-
Meltdown 101-Vitrograph, Streamers, & Pours!:
This is an intensive 3 day workshop. Designed to give you the tools & confidence to go ahead & make your own after. Students will come away with lots of samples to include in future projects. An in depth look at how the kiln is set up & firing schedules is discussed as well as commercial crucibles vs. homemade. Sept 24th, 26, & 27th. 7-9:30, & 10-4 Sat & 1-4 Sun. Cost $149- includes materials & tools.
Quick Change Artist- Reactives:
This is a very intense workshop not for the faint of heart. Students will make a combination of tiles that they can refer back to in future projects. Kilnforming is an exciting process add to that the knowledge of reactives the possibility is endless! Students will not only use different glasses for the chemical change they will also experiment with silver, copper, & other inclusions to bring about reactions. Students will not only make tiles for future reference they will also construct a larger panel using Bullseye's Reactive Cloud White & Reactive Clear Ice. October 8-10th. 10-4 daily. Cost $495- includes materials.
Opalooza!!
: This is a very quick 1 day workshop. Students will make a combination of tiles for reference using Bullseye Opaline Striker. See how a little makes a big change giving you access to a whole new palette. October 23rd. 10-2. Cost $45- Materials included.
Textures
: Using different thickness' of Fibre Paper you will learn to create depth & imagery. Students will create a larger panel to take home. October 29, 7-9:30. Sat 30, 10-4, Sun 31st, 1-4.
Cost $169-. Materials included.
Coming in November & December....
Adult/Child Workshops. Together you & a child will create a beautiful decorated plate.

Regular Workshops....
Monday Nights with Tammi..
Tammi has once again offered to teach this intensive workshop on copper foil process. You will learn glass cutting, copper foil assembly & soldering. The panel is approximately 18". Tools are provided except for glass cutters. These will be discussed the first night of glass cutting as each individual can require a different cutter. This is a 5 week workshop. Starting Sept 20th next session starts Oct.25th Monday nights 7-9:30. Cost $149-
Tuesday Night Fusers Delight..:
This evening is dedicated to Fusing only. Come out & play!! This dynamic group will help you explore all the possibilities that you can imagine! Workshops include the price of 1 firing..Some tools provided. $35- per night. (a call ahead is usually encouraged to make sure we have enough room) 7-9:30 every Tuesday starting in Sept.
Wednesday Open Studio.
For those of you who do not come out to play at night the studio is open at 12-4 p.m. Work on an project you wish. Studio rental $20- or book a 5 week session $80-.
Thursday Nights
: Come join our regular girls a few openings available.. Work on your stained glass project & learn with others as you go..5 weeks $80-. Some tools provided. Sept 9th-October 7th. Session 2 Starts October 14th. 7-9:30.
