Middlesex Centers’ Finest Stained Glass Studio
Unexpectedly Last night in a unanimous vote Middlesex Center Council
voted that The Glass Cutter Studio be given the prestigious Title of
Middlesex Centers’ Finest Stained Glass Studio. This comes unexpectedly
as many constituents were there for more pressing articles that were
to be tabled. However to quote one major source who wanted to remain
anonymous….” You can not hold something like this back
from a company that has worked so hard to keep people with “Triggerfingerzealousness”,
a place to hang out & feel comfortable in. A place that will fulfill
there every desire for a glass that has color & density that light
will dance through it. This is a rare & awkward disease that only
afflicts those with a persistent & quite unfathomable desire to
cut glass with dexterity & proficiency. To create the most exquisite
stained glass windows & lamps. These people needed a place to go,
a shelter for them to stay off the streets.
Since opening the store in Delaware the response has
been incredible…People
have been seen all hours of the day & night getting their fix for glass & patterns.
It has been a boom for the County. Heck crime has gone down the same percentage
as happiness has gone up with all the stained glass hangings that are going up
around the Township!!! When asked about this award Luc just mumbled in his shy & quiet
way, however Jayne had something interesting to say..”This is what happens
when you introduce something so desirable to others. Something that is magic.
That when it captures you holds you so tight, that there is a fine line between
thinking about glass in its’ many ways & forms &
the disease “Triggerfingerzealousness”. This is a disease Jayne has
had to deal with most of her life. However since opening The Glass Cutter Studio
she has found solace in knowing that there are more people out there who needed
a place to go that would fulfill their desire for the deep colors & textures
to create that intricate panel. That will always offer the most glass for the
best price. That would encourage & not shun these people. Both Jayne & Luc
humbly accept the responsibility that goes with this award. Staying that “We
will endeavor to fulfill every persons wish & desire for new & exciting
colors in glass. Search for the best foil, buy only high quality solder. And
have in stock plenty of patterns including all the new Christmas books.” This
is there goal going forward in life. And thanks to the Councilors that voted
in favor of keeping people like these off the streets.
Corning Museum
By Luc
This is a picture taken at the Corning Museum, Corning
New York. A mere 5 hours away depending on border crossings.
The air
at Corning
is alive with anticipation. A hum of excitement!
Upon arrival
do not bother with taking the bus (although free) the Museum
is directly behind
the parking lot.
The first amazing piece that is directly in
the entranceway is this work of art produced by Dale Chihuly.
One of his many wonders, & something
that will entice you further into the museum.
Set aside at least 5
hours to absorb as much as you can. Your soul will thank you
for it.
Red Riding Hood Gets LOST!!!
By B.B. W. Olf
Last week Little Red Riding Hood went Missing! Sources say she was
on her way to Grandmothers house to take a basket of stained glass
patterns. Grandmother had been suffering from “Outofglasspatternsquarterly”.
What was determined to be a lack of new stained glass patterns. So
Little Red had found an old stash that she was certain her Grandmother
had not yet read. On her way she was surprised to see a new road that
had been worn through the forest. Sources go on to say that Little
Red decided to follow the trail. And that is when authorities were
called in. Officer P. Wissmach stated “Little Red usually went
about her business to Grandmothers house quite quickly. Always anxious
to get home so she could get back to her “hobby”. Little
Red was addicted to FUSING, quoted from other sources. She would always
wait for her kiln to reach the perfect temperature & watch her
glass “soak” until all the glass puddle beautifully. Then
crash it so that it would cool to the required 900 degrees. Then patiently
wait not opening the kiln door as hard as that is too resist. Little
Red knew her stuff.
Little Red was drawn to the different path in the woods. A path
that had quickly appeared over time. Officer P. Wissmach was
quick to point out that this one led to a relatively new place. Leading
people
who had a very rare disease “Triggerfingerzealousness”,
to a place where they could get help. This relatively new place locally
known as “The Glass Cutter Studio” had set up a program
for addicts. One that will help with the cravings. Bringing in new
supplies weekly, of new sheets of glass. Always having the Rak Packs
from Spectrum. Great glass for a mere $4.99 As well as offering new
saving monthly. Also Fusible glass available. This was what had drawn
Little Red down the path. She wasn’t lost after all. Just in
a little bit of Heaven.
